在商务合作中，最重要的一环就是沟通。
要让双方都可以实时 "更新" 项目进度、最新进展、突发状况等，
在英语中，大家最常说的就是“Keep me updated”，
不过除此之外还有什么其他讲法呢？

Keep up with 跟上（进度、潮流...）
想像你和一个走路很快的人走在一起，
你会需要加快脚步才能 "跟上" 他，
这个动作就是“Keep up with”；
在商业英语中，keep up with指的是跟上进度或是跟上时事、潮流。
【例句】
1. Engineers read a lot of studies to keep up with the latest developments in the field.
工程师会读很多研究论文来让自己跟上该领域的最新发展。
2. Fashion designers must keep up with the newest trends and designs.
时尚设计师一定要跟上最新的潮流和设计。

Keep posted 回报（进度、修改状况...）
Post原意是 "贴文或邮寄" ，在这边其实就是update 更口语化的说法。
有一说是此说法源自于会计业的术语，
表示 "更新帐户信息" 。
你也可以记当你在和伙伴、同事、上司回报进度时，
就好像在公布栏 "贴" 上通知一样让大家知道。
【例句】
1. Best of luck job hunting! And keep me posted on where you end up working.
祝你找工作顺利！务必让我知道你最后到哪边高就喔！
2. Make sure to keep your manager posted on the status of this project.
一定要记得和你的经理回报这个项目的最新状况。
3. I probably won't be able to attend this meeting, but keep me posted.
我可能没办法参与这场会议，再麻烦把会议纪录统整给我了。
Keep in the loop 随时更新信息
Loop指的是 "圈圈" ，
所以“keep in the loop” 就好像是把项目、企划相关的人都套在一个圈圈里，
有任何信息更新，圈圈内的人都会知道。
【例句】
1. I'm CC'ing Jensen just to keep him in the loop.
我会顺便寄副本给Jensen，帮他更新最新信息。
2. I wanted to share a few important notes to keep you in the loop for the next few weeks.
我想和大家分享几点重要事项，让大家能在接下来几周能跟上进度。
3. We're so happy you subscribed to our newsletter. To stay in the loop, add us to your contacts, so our emails don't end up in your spam folder!
很高兴您订阅我们的电子报！想要随时获得最新信息的话，请将我们加到您的通讯录，以免我们寄送的电子邮件被判定为垃圾邮件！
“Loop” 也可以单独作为动词使用，例如loop someone into a discussion（让某人加入讨论）；
或是要表示 "完全脱节" ，可以说out of the loop。
【例句】
1. Should we loop Jensen in on the project? He has relevant experiences.
我们要将 Jensen 加入这个项目吗？他有相关经验。
2. I've been out of the loop for a long time, so I'm afraid I can't tell you what's going on with that project.
我已经和那个项目脱节很久了，所以我恐怕无法给你最新信息。
Catch up 追上（进度、最新信息）
和“keep up with” 很像，
当你赛跑中落后，你会试着 "追上" 前面的人，
英语是catch up，
在商业英语中是指 "帮人跟上最新进度" ，
有时可翻作 "讨论、谈论" 。
用法是 catch up with 人 on 事项／catch 人 up on 事项（项目更新、进度）
【例句】
1. It was good catching up with you today regarding the status of our project.
很高兴今天能和您讨论我们项目的进度。
2. Can you catch me up on what's going on? I've been out of the loop for too long.
可以请你跟我统整一下现在所发生的事吗？我在状况外很久了。
3. Our newsletter makes sure our customers are caught up on our company's latest products.
透过我们的电子报，顾客可以确保随时获得本公司最新产品信息。
Fill in 说明
平常我们 "填写" 表格或考试 "画卡" 的动作叫“Fill in”；
不过在商业英语中，“Fill in” 指的是 "说明" 。
可以想像成对方对于某件事有很多 "空白" ，
而我们就像填表格一样把信息填进去。
用法是“Fill someone in”。
【例句】
1. I couldn't attend the meeting. Could you fill me in on what was discussed?
我那时候没办法参与会议。可以请你和我说明一下大家讨论了什么吗？
2. You'll need to ask Raj to fill you in on the details.
要麻烦你请 Raj 和你说明一下细节。
3. Welcome to the team! HR will fill you in on all the company policies.
欢迎加入团队！人资部门会和你说明所有公司的政策。
