【英语写作】单词搭配、完形填空常见介词短语记好，考试不再卡关！

学习英语要背一堆单词，也会遇到不少各式种类短语！
常常搞不清楚介词用法，但是考试又会一直看到。
小编整理了四组介词，并列出几个搭配的短语，
一起搞懂介词短语吧！
首先，要知道介词后面通常都是加 "名词" 为主，或者以 "动名词 (Ving) " 替代。

As 作为、当作、以……的身分
be famous as 以什么身分出名
【例句】
J. K. Rowling is famous as the author of Harry Potter.
J. K. 罗琳因为是哈利波特的作者而出名。
regard A as B 把 A 视为 B
【例句】
The teacher regards John as a troublesome student.
老师将 John 视为一个麻烦的学生。
**as 作为副词后接形容词时**
A as adj. as B A 像 B 一样（形容词）.....
【例句】
The dining room is as gorgeous as a fine restaurant.
这个饭厅跟高级餐厅一样豪华。
【补充】
以下补充几个重要的短语，虽然也是 as adj. As 的形式，但是我们不会翻译成 "像...一样" ，因此读者们可以特别记下来！

John tries to make his own living by having several part-time jobs.
John 试着以做多份兼职以谋生。
by the time 到时
【例句】
By the time we arrived in the theater, the movie was already over.
当我们抵达电影院时，电影早就已经结束了。
by mistake 错误地
【例句】
I picked up the wrong umbrella by mistake.
我不小心拿错了雨伞。
by accident 意外地
【例句】
He cut his fingers by accident when preparing for the dinner.
他在准备晚餐时，不小心切到手指。
For 因为、为了、代表
be famous for 以什么特色闻名
【例句】
Taiwan is famous for its delicacy.
台湾以它的美食闻名。
【补充】
记得前面讲过的 be famous as 以...身分出名，两个短语常常混合着一起出在考题中，千万要小心记清楚啰！

【例句】
The government calls for people's efforts to combat global warming.
政府呼吁人民的力量以对抗全球暖化。
ask for 要求、寻找
【例句】
The workers ask for higher payment after the previous incident.
员工们在上次的事件后要求更高的薪水。
stand for 代表 / 支持、容忍
【例句】
The American flag stands for freedom and justice.
美国国旗代表自由及公平。
The teacher cannot stand for any noise during the class time.
在上课时间，老师无法容忍任何一点噪音。
trade A for B 以 A 交易 B
【例句】
The miners would like to trade the precious stone for some money.
那些矿工希望以宝石交易到一些钱。
From 从……起、始于
suffer from 受苦、经历
【例句】
The company is suffering from a serious financial crisis.
这间公司正遭受严重的金融危机。
separate A from B 分离、分辨
【例句】
The vet separates the ill dog from the healthy one.
那个兽医将生病与健康的狗隔离开来。
Adversity shows what men really are and separates the sheep from the goats.
患难可以看出人的本质，并分辨出好人和坏人。
be different from 与...不同
【例句】
The girl is different from anyone I have ever met before.
那个女孩与我过去见过的都不一样。
prevent A from B 避免、避开
【例句】
The antivirus can prevent our computer from being infected by a malicious program.
这个防毒软件可以避免我们的电脑被恶意病毒入侵。
