to 加动词原形的原因有：
表达目的
【例句】
1. Because of fighting with her boyfriend, she locked the door to keep him outside.
因为和男朋友吵架，所以她便锁门将男友关在门外。
2. We set off early so as to avoid the traffic.
我们为了避免堵车，所以提早出发。
3. They speak slowly in order to let everyone understand.
他们降低语速是要让大家比较容易理解。
补充说明 to 前面的形容词
