线上学习平台的好处大家都知道：你可以随时随地学习，
而且还可以自己决定要学什么、学习方式，以及老师要不要积极纠正你。
但上线上英语口语课的时候，有时候会突然卡住不知道说什么，
时间就一分一秒地浪费掉了。
不用怕！这次 Engoo 来教大家线上英语课可以用的十句实用句型！

自我介绍
通常第一堂课会和老师自我介绍，并且让老师知道你的学习目标。
1. Call me… 你可以叫我......
你可以用这个句型来让老师知道他该如何称呼你。
（可以是绰号、英语名、中文名......）
【例句】
1. My name is Sebastien, but please call me “Seb.”
我的名字是 Sebastien，你可以叫我 Seb。
2. My name is José, but feel free to call me “Pepe.” All my friends call me that.
我的名字是 José，但我朋友都叫我 Pepe。你也可以这样称呼我。
3. My name is Mikhail. You can just call me “Misha.” I prefer that.
我的名字是 Mikhail，你可以叫我 Misha 就好。我比较喜欢别人这样叫我。
2. Today, I'd like to… 今天，我想要学......
通常学生在预约课程的时候，会从我们上百种课程教材中挑选，
但其实上课的时候你也可以和外教聊教材以外的事！
【例句】
1. Today, I'd like to go over an essay with you. Could you correct my mistakes?
今天我想要和你讨论一下我的一篇作文。可以请你帮我看看哪边有错吗？
2. Today, I'd like to practice talking about marketing.
今天我想要练习用英语谈论营销。
3. Today, I'd like to read a news article and discuss it together.
今天我想要阅读新闻文章，并且和你一起讨论。
3. I’d like to improve my…
我想要加强我的......
如果你有哪项能力或哪个方面想要特别加强，也可以和老师说喔！
【例句】
1. I'd like to improve my ability to express myself more precisely.
我想要加强精准表达自我的能力。
2. I'd like to improve my pronunciation, especially of the “th” sound. Could you please correct my mistakes?
我想要加强我的发音，特别是 “th” 的音。可以请你纠正我的错误吗？
向老师询问建议或评论，并和他们道谢
不论你是想要问老师某件事物英语更好的说法，
或是希望老师给你评论建议，
这几句都很好用喔！
4. What are some ways to … in English?
……用英语怎么说？
有时候你可能突然不知道如何用英语精准地表达某些想法，
或是你要上台报告，但不知道要怎么讲比较好，
这时你就可以问老师 “What are some ways to … in English?”
【例句】
1. I'd like to apologize to my friend for breaking her cup. What are some ways to do this in English besides “Sorry for breaking your cup”?
我打破了我朋友的杯子，所以我想要跟她道歉。
除了 “Sorry for breaking your cup” 以外， 还有什么其他英语讲法呢？
2. I want to ask my flatmate to not be so loud at night. What are some ways to bring this up in English?
我想要请我室友晚上小声一点。要怎么用英语向他开口呢？
5. Is there a more ... way to say this in English?
这个有更...的英语说法吗？
如果你已经知道如何表达你的想法，但想要用更好的方式说出来，
就可以问老师这个句子。
【例句】
1. Is there a more polite way to say this in English?
这个有比较礼貌的英语说法吗？
2. Is there a more precise way to say this in English?
这个有更精准的英语说法吗？
3. Is there a more natural way to say this in English?
这个有更自然的英语说法吗？
6. Thanks for pointing that out. 谢谢指教。
如果你觉得老师给的建议非常有用，你可以向他们表示感谢。
这样他们就会知道以后要多给你哪种的建议。
【例句】
1. Thanks for pointing out that I keep confusing “bored” and “boring.” I thought I had mastered this, but I guess I didn't!
谢谢你提醒我！我一直把 “bored” 和 “boring” 搞混。我还以为我已经学会了呢！
2. Thanks for pointing out that I sound robotic. I'll make sure to work on my rhythm so I sound more natural.
谢谢你提醒我我讲话听起来像机器人。我会再多练习讲话的节奏，让自己听起来更自然！
7. Thanks for letting me know. 谢谢你让我知道。
除了指出错误，老师也会对你的英语给出评论。可能是正面也可能是负面的，不过只要你觉得有用，也可以让老师知道你的谢意！
【例句】
1. Thanks for letting me know that I need to work on my grammar. I'll take some grammar lessons next time.
谢谢你让我知道我的语法需要加强。我下次会上几堂语法课的。
2. Thanks for letting me know that my pronunciation is actually not bad. You help me feel more confident!
谢谢你让我知道我的发音其实不算差。你帮助我提升了很多自信！
其他请求
8. Could you type it in the chatbox, please?
可以请你帮我把词打在对话框吗？
有时候你可能听不懂老师在讲什么，希望他帮你把词拼出来，
或是来不及纪录他提供的信息，
这时就可以用这个句型。
【例句】
1. Sorry, I didn't get that. Could you type it in the chatbox, please?
不好意思，我没听懂。可以请你打在对话框吗？
2. Could you type the word you just said in the chatbox, please? I'd like to know how to spell it.
可以请你在聊天室把你刚刚讲的那个词打下来吗？我想知道要怎么拼。
9. Could we skip … , please? 可以跳过...吗？
如果你选择使用教材，但觉得某些部分没有那么有帮助，
这时就可以和老师这样说。
【例句】
1. Could we skip this question, please?
可以先跳过这个问题吗？
2. Could we skip the vocabulary exercise, please?
我们可以跳过单词练习吗？
3. Could we skip the article, please? I already read it before class.
我们可以跳过这个文章吗？我课前有先阅读了。
课程结束时
10. I learned a lot. 我学到了很多。
最后，要感谢老师的课时，你可以这样说。
【例句】
1. Thanks for the great lesson. I learned a lot more than expected!
谢谢你！这堂课很棒，我学习到比想像中还要多东西！
2. I learned a lot and had a great time today thanks to you! See you next time!
