Hello! My name is John.

I am a native English speaker, born and educated in South Africa, and currently living in Crete, Greece. I am a licensed ESL tutor by the Greek Ministry of Education and have more than 20 years of tutoring experience.

My experience includes preparing and giving public discourses in English and Greek, as well as translation and editing work. I am diligent, polite, and patient, and I can tutor students from beginner to advanced levels.

For me, tutoring is not only about sharing knowledge but also about understanding your feelings and needs. I believe this helps build confidence and trust in our sessions.

My hobbies include walking in nature, swimming, watching movies, reading books, listening to music, and using technology. I look forward to meeting you!
